Which styles/genres do you teach?
- I teach classical/opera, musical theater, pop, singer-songwriter, choral, and worship styles.
Which ages do you teach?
- I teach ages 9 to 90! Pre-pubescent singers are highly encouraged to take 30-minute lessons.
Where can I park? / Is there Public Transport?
- There's plenty of free street parking and it is within 15 minutes of public transit
How can I pay?
- I accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, and cash. All lessons must be paid up front and multi-lesson packages must be paid in full by the first lesson.
What should I bring to my lesson?
- A water bottle, pencil, 3-ring binder, and an adventurous spirit!
How can I reschedule a lesson?
- Text or email me at least 24 hours before your lesson time, so that you can receive a make-up lesson credit.
What if I need to cancel my lesson?
- Text or email me at least 24 hours before your lesson time. Any lesson cancelled less than 24 hours in advance cannot be refunded.
What if I'm running late?
- If you're late, we will make the most of the time left over. If I am late, I will credit you any time that was missed.
Do you teach group lessons?
- Sometimes I offer group lessons for up to 4 people. Contact me for custom group lesson rates.
Do you teach online?
- If you need to stay home for any reason, I do offer lessons via Zoom as an alternative to cancelling or rescheduling.
Do you offer other services?
- I offer acting coaching, beginner music theory lessons, plus lyric French and German coaching (for a separate fee).
May I stay for my child's lesson?
- I love meeting my students' parents! Singing in front of family can make some people feel too self-conscious at first, so I ask that parents make themselves comfortable in the next room during the student's lesson. If/when a student agrees, you are welcome to sit in for a few minutes at the beginning or end of the lesson. For any families with small children, I am located close to the library.
