Teaching Philosophy

Singing is incredibly natural; I believe that a positive, curious mindset and a relaxed body are the foundation of an expressive voice. My desire in every lesson is to help my students love the learning process and healthily achieve their personal goals. Whether you want to sing for fun or intend to pursue it professionally, you will hone life skills such as mindfulness, engaging communication, and thinking on your feet.

In 2018 I earned my Bachelor of Music in Applied Voice from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY; I received my Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA in 2024. During my studies I have taken Vocal Pedagogy courses under leading pedagogues. My personal performance experience includes Musical Theatre, Opera, Concert, Choral, Worship, and back-up vocals (live shows & studio recording).
